Hello and abundant blessing to you.  My name is Beth-Ann Wise and I was given the spiritual name Liv Avtar when I became a Kundalini Yoga Teacher.  Liv Avtar means an embodiment of devotion to the divine source.

I’m also a musician who is based in Syracuse, New York.  Sat Naam means, “Truth is 30my identity – who I am at the core of my being is the truth”.  I have found the joy of living my truth though the teachings of Kundalini Yoga and nothing fills me with greater joy than helping others explore and live their truth.

Having completed Infinite Light Yoga Training in Syracuse in 2013, I taught Hatha Yoga for several years.  My journey with Kundalini Yoga began after attending a weekend workshop with Snatam Kaur at Kripalu.  Kundalini Yoga can work very quickly to transform you – like it did me – and I was grateful to complete Level One Kundalini Yoga Training with Mahan Rishi Singh Khalsa and Nirbhe Kaur Khalsa at the Khalsa Healing Arts Center in Yardley, PA in February of 2017.  I have also completed my Level Two Kundalini Yoga Training.

Singing has always been a big part of my life and the mantras of Kundalini Yoga worked their magic on me and inspired me to learn to play harmonium and shruti box.  I play these vibrational instruments often to accompany the chants in class or during kirtan – an event of sacred chanting.  I’m currently recording an album of original mantra music and look forward to sharing that in 2023.

In December of 2016 I began playing The Gong. The Gong is central to awakening the Kundalini energy within – the energy of creative consciousness.  The Gong is one of man’s most powerful and oldest transformational and therapeutic instruments. It has been used for ritual, ceremony, prayer and meditation since the Bronze Age. Its sound and vibration is relaxing and calming, centering and energizing, transforming and healing.

I’m also available for private Akara Numerology readings to provide insights into your innate strengths and helps you understand and work with your challenges.

Plus I craft hand knotted mala necklaces made from gemstones and other organic materials.  These malas can also work with particular energies that support us.  Please contact me for an in-person or remote reading or if you’d like to commission your own mala.

Please take a look around my site to see what I’m up to and don’t hesitate to reach out and contact me if you have questions.
